Dr. Hemangi Sane was credited to be one of the leading physicians of the world in 2013-14 and received an award from the Mayor of Mumbai city on International Women's Day for her work towards improving the quality of life of patients suffering with neurological disorders. She has gone beyond research and also setup a non-profit organization dedicated towards the cause.
Past positions held
She held the post of a Consultant Physician with the Family Medicine of Carthage. She has practiced Internal Medicine in New York before entering the field of cell therapy and has an experience of more than 10 years.
Educational background
She acquired MBBS degree from the prestigious GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai University. Further she acquired post graduate, MD, degree in Internal Medicine from the renowned New York Medical College, USA. She is an American Board of Internal Medicine certified physician. She is a member of Indian Medical Association, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and Stem Cell Society of India.
