He sits there on the balcony watching other kids play. He wishes he could too. It’s not that he hasn’t tried
but the desire dies just as fast as it comes.
‘I don’t have any friends, who I will play with anyway’, he thinks and walks inside.
His mother watches him and feels her heart break for the hundredth time.
This is a story of an 8-year-old boy who was diagnosed with autism. Their life was all about lack of social
interactions and a breaking heart.
After searching for autism treatments everywhere, she finally found us in Mumbai. Our little man came in
with his mother for an initial check up and soon after the parents decided to do the stem cell therapy. He
stayed with us for the next 6 days and did amazing in the rehabilitation therapies.
He came back again three and a half months later for the follow-up visit and the changes that we saw and
heard of were enough to bring tears of joy to our eyes.
Little man could hardly ever sit still for as little as a minute and today he goes to and enjoys family
functions! He can now sit at one place for as long as 2 hours. We hear he loves music and loves to watch
people dance. Compare that to a time when he hardly understood anything that his parents told him.
Today, not only does he understand but also responds to them. Before the therapy he could not follow
more than one step instructions, today he follows as many as 3 step instructions. Little man would hardly
ever play with others at home, let alone go to the playground. Now, he enjoys play time with his brother.
In fact every day around 4.30, he asks his mother if he can go to the park to play. He even rings the bell to
come back home after he is done playing! Initially, he never bothered listening to anything people were
telling him and today he actively listens and pays attention.
Much of all this progress may seem normal or average to most parents, but only those parents who have
seen their children battle out with a condition like Autism will be able to connect. You don’t believe us
watch the video below to know more changes that stem cell therapy and rehabilitation brought about in
Little Man. The video has his mother speaking about the changes that she has noticed in him in three
months after the therapy and also has a few clips of our little man doing different activities in the
rehabilitation therapy.
