The lack of freedom to move around doesn’t pinch until it is felt. Such is the story of a 35-year-old lady from Uttar Pradesh. Her freedom was snatched away from her when she was shot and lost sensation in both legs because of the resulting spinal cord injury. Coming from a small town, she didn’t have much knowledge about the advances in medical science. She lost all hope of any recovery. But miracles do happen. It happened for her when she heard about us and came to NeuroGen for stem cell therapy.
The woman, who could not stand on her feet or do anything at all and was completely bedridden, has shown some tremendous improvement since. When she first came to NeuroGen, she had no movement in her legs at all. She could not balance herself and was completely dependent on people all the time.
