Through an unfortunate mishap Captain Manish Singh, a 26 year old was left brutally injured on 25TH of September, 2012. Throughout his entire time in the Indian Army, he sacrificed everything fighting for our nation. Such was his relentless effort that he was even awarded the prestigious Shaurya Chakra Award by Pranab Mukherjee. His patriotism brought him face to face with danger as a bullet to his spine on the lower back region brought him left him with paralysis. Now the depth of his injury level became so bad that it left him paralytic showing a complete failure in his bowel and bladder functions. He had to undergo two major operations but even after that he experienced extreme pain in his lower extremities. It was a really sad sight to see a man of action lying down motionless unable to move or sit on his own accord. He was fortunate enough to have friends who cared for him and so it was one of his jawan army friends that made contact with NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute.
